Just a Thought...

You know in the beginning of football games on TV when the announcer is introducing the players and they flash their name and pictures up?

The "pictures" are actually short video clips.  The guys stay so still.

But every once and awhile they blink or sniff or something.  (And it ALWAYS startles me)

I really wonder if that's where J.K. Rowling got the idea for her wizard pictures.

Anyone?

  1. I was following you until you mentioned the Harry Potter chick...now I have no idea what you're talking about...my wizard knowledge is non-existent :-(

  2. Sometimes I like to sit really still and just stare off into space. It freaks the kids out. Then I blink, or sniff, or shout and it's totally startles them.

  3. I wonder who came up with that idea for football - you'd think they's have a clip of them playing ball or something.

Can you imagine taking that video? "Hold still. Just a little longer..."

  4. I know! I wondered the same thing. Football has gotten so weird with all the graphics and stuff.

But those picture/videos make me giggle EVERY time!

  5. I'm trying to figure out if you like football or if you're annoyed to be watching. Anny falls into the second category there...

Anyway - What annoys me more is the college declaration. "Rob Monroe, The U" Who cares? Especially for the guys that have been in the league for 15 years!

  6. I've been calling those moving pictures Harry Potter pictures!

And I agree with Rob...who cares what college they went to?!

  7. Miami fans love you no matter how long you have been gone from "The U". As for the other colleges, you are probably right.
