Toddler Rambles

Today, in the car with Shaun:

Bean:  "Daddy, you're the KING!  And I'm the Princess!

Daddy:  "Nice!  What's Mommy?"

Bean: "Mommy's a SPOON!"

(And apparently, C's a Knife)

Later, Shaun called me and handed Bean the phone so she could tell me what she had said.  Somewhere during her receiving the phone, she pushed the hold button but kept talking.

Bean:  "Mommy?  You are da spoon."

*silence*

"You are da spoon!"

*silence*

"YOU ARE DA SPOON!"

*silence*

 "MOMMY!  YOU ARE DA SPOON!"

*silence*

 "Daddy?  Mommy is NOT listening!"
