Well, it's been awhile, friends, but alas, a giveaway is afoot.
General Mills is currently giving away movie tickets! If you buy two specially marked packages of General Mills' cereals, you can get one free movie ticket through moviecash by using the codes inside each box.
And bonus (or curse, depending on how you look at it), the participating brands are all delightfully sweet... Honey Nut Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Trix and Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs.
If your house is like our house, those are the "Mommy and Daddy" cereals for consumption when the kids aren't around.
Comment on this post for a chance to win four e-movie cash certificates, (worth $12 each) and a coupon for a free General Mills cereal. If you'd like, include a good movie recommendation! My husband likes to remind me that it's been ages since we've last seen a movie and I'm thinking it's time to catch one. (But it better be good!)
Contest ends midnight on Sunday, December 13th. Get a second entry if you tweet about this contest. (Must post a separate comment with your twitter name :)
The must knows: I was provided with 2 Movie gift packs of four e-tickets, product information and 2 coupons for free cereal from General Mills through MyBlogSpark in order to write this review. (One to keep and one to give away).

I'm dying to see the new Scrooge by Disney. I've heard mixed reviews, but I want to see it in a theatre in 3D. And? Chocolate Lucky Charms? Mommy's little secret snack ;-)
ReplyDeleteI RT'd your tweet
ReplyDeleteIs it bad karma to say that I hate cereal? But my kids LOVE it and the household eats a lot. My family is doing their part to keep General Mills in business.
ReplyDeleteMovie suggestion? New Moon. Despite the crazy hype it was good, better than the first one.
I RT'd your tweet :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a cereal eater, but Josh loves it! (I like it, but my waistline has this weird way of increasing every time I make it a part of my regular diet...) We saw A Christmas Carol in 3d and LOVED it! Definitely recommend it!
ReplyDeleteI Re-Tweeted!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't seen a movie in the theater in awhile... I think the last one was Star Trek...
ReplyDeleteI've heard good comments about The Blind Side, but I don't even really know what it's about. :)
Late day tomorrow??? *hoping*
Umm... They still put movies into theaters? I hear my wife saw Horton Hears a Who this summer, and some "Harry Potter" thing in the spring. Hmm... based on the last one I saw in the theater - I HIGHLY reccomend The Simpsons. It's a fun filled 90 minutes... wait, that's been on DVD for two years already. Crap. :o)
ReplyDeleteWe are an "eat cereal for a bedtime snack" family. As for movies, I'm looking forward to the new Sherlock Holmes movie coming out next year(?). - Wendy Corbett
ReplyDeleteI eat Honey Nut Cheerios every day..YUM! Sign me up to win!
ReplyDeleteHI,
ReplyDeleteI retweeted also...thanks!
Yay for Honey Nut Cheerios! Simply so good!
ReplyDeleteThe new "Sherlock Holmes" movie with Robert Downey Jr. looks good.

love those Lucky Charms! Is it weird I am an adult and still separate the cereal pieces and marshmallows and eat them separate?
ReplyDeleteand I RT'ed and shortened the URL so I could add a comment ;-)
ReplyDeleteWe would love to go see the knew Scrooge movie as a family along with others. Also Cinnamon Toast Crunch has become a favorite evening pregnancy snack for me.
ReplyDeleteOooooh, Cinnamon Toast Crunch sounds like a great evening pregnancy snack. I'm going to get some! aehaas at gmail (dot) com
ReplyDeleteWait, moms get to see movies? I must have missed that memo. The last movie I saw in the theater was Horton Hears a Who. The one before that? The wedding planner. Yes, the one with JLo that came out the month before Ash was born. I am just that with it! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win so that maybe I could head to the movies with my hubby! And, cereal is always good with 2 little ones.... ;-)
